Merino wool winter booties for babies and toddlers

Our ultimate winter booties with a MaM*tec softshell for all weathers. Designed for babywearing, car and bike journeys and pushchair naps, they come up much higher than regular booties for full coverage and protection, with a shell that keeps out wind, snow and slush.

Ribbed merino wool against the skin, a protective softshell on the outside.

Fully Reversible & Seamlessly Comfortable: The booties are fully reversible, with the seams hidden between the layers. Gentle on sensitive skin and perfect for extended wear.

Exceptional Inner Warmth: A full inner layer of 380 gsm ribbed merino wool gives outstanding softness against the skin. The generous sizing traps warm air and leaves room for extra socks or our Long Tube Baby Booties inside.

Double Adjustment Points: A secure, customisable fit that stays in place all day, even on the wiggliest little feet.

MaM*tec Softshell: A windproof, waterproof and breathable MaM*tec membrane (over 10,000 mm) with a bonded fleece inner layer containing approx. 15% recycled fibres. Flexible, durable and protective in all weather conditions.

Nothing Goes to Waste: The MaM*tec shell is made from carefully stored stock fabric, giving quality materials a long and useful life.

Ready for wind, snow and slush, with pure merino comfort inside.

Material

• Lining: 100% merino wool rib in Expedition weight, approx. 380 gsm
• Shell: MaM*tec softshell with a windproof, waterproof and breathable membrane (over 10,000 mm) and a bonded fleece inner layer (approx. 15% recycled fibres)
• Merino wool rib and all trims, from labels and threads to buttons and zips, tested for harmful substances to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Class I: the strictest class, made for baby articles. Tested every year since the 2017/2018 collection
• Mulesing-free merino wool, free from superwash and moth treatments, coloured with safe dyes
• Soft merino wool lining against the skin, with a protective shell outside

Care Instructions

• Hand wash or machine wash at a max. temperature of 30°C on a gentle wool cycle
• When washing by hand, do not wring. Instead, press into a towel to remove excess water or machine spin at 400 rpm
• Shape while damp and lay flat to dry
• Do not tumble dry or bleach
• We recommend airing wool garments outside to refresh them. It's unnecessary to wash after every use.
• Use an enzyme-free wool detergent when washing your Natural Woollies, and let them rest between uses
• Pure merino rib without elastane relaxes a little with wear and regains its shape in the wash
