MaM Softshell Babywearing Cover

The weatherproof SoftShell - Our special ordered SoftShell is bonded with polar fleece and a tec-layer, and is somewhat stretchy too. Just perfect for babywearing. And the colour chosen is fresh and fashionable.

MaM finds it important to protect the heads of our babies/children in addition to the rest of their small bodies and ALL our covers (except the CWI) comes with a free hood/hat. We don't want to endorse static/fitted hoods on the covers as they can be a choking hazard not moving along with the head in the same way as a separate hat/hood does.

We have designed a new kind of adjustable elephant hood with baby neck/back coverage. The hood has two buttons at the top for adjustment, and a nice looking circular rib part in the back for easy dressing + straps for securing and adjusting the neck width.

The new Elephant Hoods are offered with all FLeX-style covers and you'll find them in a couple of other combos too.

The MaM Covers have been designed in the harsh Scandinavian climate to function wonderfully in all kinds of weather conditions. They have a six point closure and a draw string in the hem making a secure pouch for the feet of the child. The neck of a sleeping child is supported by the cover, a feature especially appreciated by active babywearers. The head flap also works as an extra protection from sun rays/harsh weather when needed and can be folded down when the child is awake. A must have for every active parent.  

The cover is not a baby carrier. It is a garment for covering you and your baby while using a carrier. Pay attention to the security and movements of your child, especially while carrying him/her on your back. Make sure your child has good air flow at all times. Innovation patented product.

Material:  A stretchy SofShell techical cover, fabric bonded with a structure-cut polar fleece and a breathable, watherproof membrane (MaM*tec >5000mm)sandwiched between layers. 88 % polyester /12 % elastan, indisde 100 % polyester, membrane 100 % polyurethane.
