ManyMonths, MaM and MaD size guide

Our clothes grow with your child, so a size covers a stage, not a birthday. The guide explains how to choose:

  • Choose by your child’s height, not by age.
  • A garment with two size names spans both stages.
  • Between two sizes? Choose the larger one.
  • MaM and MaD follow European sizes, so choose the size you usually wear.

Stains on wool and how to remove them

Oh no, a stain!

Natural wool resists stains well, and most marks lift easily with the right steps:

  • Act fast, use lukewarm water, about 30 °C, and dab instead of rubbing.
  • Gall soap on the spot, then a good rinse.
  • Let mud dry, freeze chewing gum, dissolve tree sap with hand sanitiser.
  • Never hot water, enzymes, bleach or baking soda on natural wool.

Washing wool clothes

Wash less. Air more.

Wool cleans itself in fresh air, so it needs far fewer washes than you might think:

  • Air your Woollies between wears and spot clean small marks.
  • When washing is needed, we recommend hand washing. The wool programme at 30 °C with a gentle spin works too.
  • Use a wool detergent without enzymes.
  • Reshape and dry flat, away from radiators and strong sun.
